Title: Modelling and analysis of electrical circuits with memristors for neuromorphic computing applications.

Abstract: Motivated by neuromorphic computing applications, in this talk we will study the behavior of nonlinear electrical circuits including memristors. Memristors, originally introduced by L.O. Chua in 1971 are resistors with a memory storage. They can be characterized as a relation between electric charge and magnetic flux. In this talk, we will develop a mathematical framework that can be used to show that the port behavior of a circuit of memristors can be described by a single memristor, and, that moreover, it can be used to show synchronisation in circuits comprising memristors and grounded capacitor.

Bio: Anne-Men Huijzer received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. (cum laude) degrees in Applied Mathematics from the University of Groningen, Groningen, The Netherlands, in 2017 and 2019, respectively. She is currently a PhD student in the System, Control and Optimization group at the Bernoulli Institute for Mathematics, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence and CogniGron - Groningen Cognitive Systems and Materials Center.
